Google Play is a digital service distribution network developed by Google, including the Google Play Store (Android Market) app store. All apps or content that are part of the Google Play family come installed by default on devices with the Android operating system. Users can start using the products of the entire Google Play family for free after logging into their Google account. Google Play is not just an app market and does not offer apps for stand-alone users. With Google Play, Android users can also access digital media, music, magazines, books, movies and television programs.

Not all services on Google Play are paid or free. The price of all the content in the store is offered to users at the price determined by the developers and by adding taxes and their share on Google Play. All digital content with the “free” label is free, but these containers can be offered with the “purchase for app” option.

Google Play started its publishing life on March 6, 2012. Today in the Google Play family; Google Play Music, Google Play Books, Google Play Newsstand, Google Play Movies; TV and Google Play Store are included.

Google Play Store is the application market application that comes installed by default on devices with the Android operating system. The name of the application market, formerly known as Android Market, was changed to the Google Play Store after the transition to the Google Play family. Google Play Store is one of the widest and most comprehensive application markets in terms of today. Android users made more than 50 billion downloads through the Google Play Store, which included 2.2 billion applications.

After logging into the Google Play Store, you can start exploring the application market by logging in from the menu on the right corner. With the support of language, you can discover new applications, download applications to your device, leave comments and rate for the applications you download.

The Google Play Store app may not always be available on your device. Especially far east devices may not have Google Play Store even if they have the Android operating system. In this case, you can install the Google Play Store as an APK on your device.
