What is Photoshop?

Photoshop is a broad statement that covers the definition of Photo Editing Software. Photoshop first started to be developed in 1987, then the software was licensed by Adobe and the first version was released. Until today, many versions of the program were put into service and innovations continued to be added and developed. The file format of Adobe Photoshop is PSD (Photoshop Document). Adobe Photoshop CC is the world's most advanced graphic design and digital imaging software. It allows you to process your images based on pixels.

Attracting attention in today's technology is through extraordinary designs. For example; Trailers and posters make up the first impression when we watch movies. Poster designs of many events such as film and theater are created with this program. Since it meets all kinds of design and editing needs, the user group it appeals to is quite wide. Aside from your daily photo editing needs, it is a platform where you can show your difference in your business life and the value that you know gives you a great advantage.

What can we use for?

What can be done with Photoshop is unlimited. The photo editing process is the most basic. When you combine your imagination with Photoshop CC, you have the opportunity to make professional works by turning what you have in mind into reality. With colors and effects, you can turn ordinary photos into an impressive one. In addition to photo editing, you can make illustrations, posters, banners, special drawings, advertisement preparation, logo and web designs. It also provides a variety of tools for 2D and 3D image manipulation and fusion, video editing and image analysis.

Adobe Photoshop CC is a program that we frequently need and use within the Academy. Since it is an area that interests me and I want to develop, I wanted to put it in writing in order to make the information permanent and to be a resource that can meet the need quickly if needed. So I decided to turn it into a training series.

Does turning the computer off and on every day reduce its lifespan?

Does turning the computer off and on every day reduce its lifespan? Turning off your computer every day or leaving it on all the time increases its lifespan? While turning off your computer at the end of the day really means you are exposing it to additional wear and tear, in fact, the actual wear comes from the act of safely shutting down the computer, not when you turn it on later. Just as the internal combustion engine in cars is subject to increased wear during start-up due to the high levels of friction created by moving parts, a personal computer is subject to a similar type of start-up wear. However, this is directly proportional to the multitude of mechanical parts inside the computer. In other words, modern computers have almost no moving parts, except for a few fans and the hard drive, which is now rare. However, there may still be wear with the inrush current given to the circuits. Because electronic circuits consisting of indicators, capacitors and transformers draw a ...
