 Link sharing is frequently used to invite users to groups on WhatsApp. By indexing these links on the search engine, Google is putting the hidden groups in danger. You can even access the phone numbers of the people in the group because you have the link to join that group.

 In his research, Motherboard detected over 470 thousand group connections. The same source also entered the WhatsApp group of a non-governmental organization, which is stated to be supported by the United Nations. As such, he was able to access the phone number of everyone in the group.

 Similar problems can be encountered in other messaging applications. When group managers are not used, it is recommended to turn off the ability to enter the group with the link. Otherwise, if Google indexes, you can witness foreign people entering your groups.
