Nokia Postpones New Flagship to Stay Behind its Competitors


HMD Global's new Nokia flagship "Nokia 9.1", which is expected to be announced in the second quarter of 2020, has been postponed. According to the information obtained, the reason for the delay of this phone, HMD Global's decision to change the processor.

 It was even rumored that the official name of this phone would be Nokia 9.1. But there seems to be some problems on the HMD Global front. Because the new information revealed that HMD Global postponed the launch of this phone to a later date.

 An account called Nokia Nokia Anew yapan, which regularly shares on Twitter, is known for its leaks and information it generates. A new sharing account a few days ago claims that the new Nokia flagship phone will be launched in the autumn of 2020, not in the second quarter of 2020. Moreover, this phone will not be named Nokia 9.1.

 According to the announcement by Nokia Anew Nokia's upcoming new flagship, "Nokia 9.2" will be called. In addition, this phone will be powered by the Qualcomm signed Snapdragon 865 processor. Reports in the past indicate that the flagship, called the Nokia 9.1, will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor. The main reason for delaying the phone is said to be the processor change.

 The Nokia 9 PureView was released in 2019, but was powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor, which was produced in 2018. In fact, the Nokia 9 PureView was postponed for a long time, and Nokia Anew revealed that the Nokia 9 PureView would be postponed before the company announced it. It seems that HMD Global does not want to experience the disappointment of the Nokia 9 PureView again.

 Nokia 9.2 is expected to have all the new technologies. At this time, however, we do not have any technical knowledge of HMD Global's upcoming flagship. Expectations that this phone will truly meet consumers as a flagship and will have 5G support.
